What we collect

This website collects personal data you enter yourself in one place only: the contact form. When you submit it, we receive the information you choose to enter.

Separately, and only with your consent, it collects aggregate usage statistics through Google Analytics. That is covered under “Cookies and analytics” below.

• Your email address
• Your company name, if you provide one
• The subject you select and the message you write

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to read and reply to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

How it is handled

Contact form submissions are delivered to our team inbox by email through Resend, our email delivery provider. They are not stored in a database on this website.

This site is hosted on infrastructure that, like most web hosting, keeps standard server access logs including IP addresses. These are used for security and operational purposes and are retained by the hosting provider under its own policy.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising cookies, runs no advertising tags, and shares no data with advertising networks.

It does use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is found and used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links they follow. Google Analytics sets cookies, so it is switched off until you agree to it.

When you first visit, analytics storage is set to denied and a notice asks whether you consent. Nothing is measured unless you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, or simply ignore the notice, the cookies are never set.

The data Google Analytics collects is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. We do not combine it with anything you send us through the contact form. Google processes it on its own infrastructure, which is outside Malaysia, under its own terms.

This is everything this website stores on your device:

• _ga — a Google Analytics cookie that tells one browser apart from another. Set only if you accept. Expires two years after your last visit.
• _ga_141QX4RLT5 — a Google Analytics cookie that holds a single visit together. Set only if you accept. Expires two years after your last visit.
• mevis:analytics-consent — not a cookie, but an entry in your browser's local storage recording whether you accepted or declined. It is what stops the notice appearing on every page, so it is set whichever way you answer. It stays on your device: it is never sent to us or to Google.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are retained in our inbox for as long as they are relevant to an ongoing or potential working relationship. You may ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@mevisdigital.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
